When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

This was done for
 's TLoZ scene contest. This contest gave me a good excuse to finally draw some Wind Waker fanart. That game holds a special spot in my heart, I don't know what it is that makes it so amazing, but I certainly find it one of, if not the, best Zelda games. After going through a lot of scenes and sketches, I chose to draw a pic to represent the scene where Tetra is revealed to be Zelda. Zelda has always been my favourite character, and that scene is one of the best and most memorable scenes in TLoZ for me. Overall, I'm happy with how this piece came out. Doing the background was lots of fun, though finding references for Hyrule castle was very hard, so I had to keep my Wind Waker game on while I was painting it. xD I had lots of trouble with the light effect, but in the end I like how Zelda looks. Zelda's face really fits the gracefullness expected of her. But, I feel somewhat angry, as I also wanted to WW art for the contest. <.<;; Oh well..we'll see what happens.

SERIOUS STUFF HAPPENS HERE
Her lowered hand looks a bit off though. I think it's because of the pinky which seems to defy movement. The pinky generally follows movements in unison with the finger directly next to it (unless you point your pinky down in which case the other finger doesn't follow unless you make it).
But then hands are difficult in general, lol. Really good otherwise. The lighting certainly worked well. ;3

Ahh, sorry. DD: I know how that feels, but hey, there are lots of scenes to choose from, and even if someone did the same one (which is very unlikely), all that matters is that you have fun in the contest, right? ^^ I'm sure a few people will at least have the same game.
Lol try posing your hands when drawing for refs. It comes in handy (OH what a bad pun). In this is you could edit the pinky I'd have it follow the pattern of the fingers so it looked a little more natural. But it's totally up to you if you'll change it or not. ;D
I can barely draw hands myself. I never win against them (or bare feet D: ).
